Over the last decade or so, I have had the opportunity to build and develop Data Science teams in large organisations. Often, the emergence of such a team has meant far-reaching changes in the way the company operates. The introduction of change often aroused understandable resistance. I would like to share my experience on how to build effective teams and how to prepare a company for the switch to using machine learning techniques. And finally, how to manage resistance from business audiences and technology departments.

“Kate, fix my teams!” – shout the people who hire me. “Okay,” I reply, “in that case, we’ll start with observation, and then we’ll work with you.” “But how with us?” – eyebrows raise – “you were supposed to fix our teams!” “That’s exactly what I’m doing,” I answer calmly, “do you remember Supernanny? It’s the same with organizations. The parents are both the problem and the solution. And your organization is just a pimply teenager who needs boundaries.”
During this short lecture, I will show you how to recognize an organization in the throes of adolescence (middle age too) and how to deal with it. And there are more of these crises, and each of them has its own characteristics and its own tools.

We pay particular attention to how generative models work from the inside out, in what direction they may evolve, and why their further progress will involve increasing costs. We also look at the global dynamics of the race for AI content and infrastructure.
Wzajemne zaufanie w zespołach to niezbędny warunek efektywności i kluczowy czynnik “powstrzymujący” zespół przed wpadaniem w koleje dysfunkcji zespołowych. Podczas warsztatu przećwiczymy trzy praktyki Management 3.0 – Delegation Poker i Team Decision Matrix (odnośnie budowania umocowania) oraz Celebration Grid (odnośnie ciągłego doskonalenia).
Goal of the workshop is to show continuous improvement methods and tools in practice. During 2,5 hour we will focus on 4 aspects:
– PDCA cycle, what is the PDCA cycle and how to improve processes using this method
– defining and measuring KPI’s;
– applying risk management tools in projects,
– projects lessons learnt – how to use them, how often we forget about it?
During working in groups participants will be able to practice methods on their own examples but also exchange the ideas and their experience with trainer and other participants.
Zmiana to nieodłączny element działania każdej organizacji, a zaskakujące wyzwania i momenty kryzysowe to chleb powszedni managerów.
Warsztat, skierowany do menedżerów projektów, liderów zespołów i menedżerów średniego szczebla, pomoże zrozumieć psychologiczne mechanizmy związane z emocjami i napięciami w sytuacjach kryzysowych.
Cele warsztatu:
Zrozumienie siebie i innych w sytuacjach wywołujących poczucie zagrożenia i niepokoju;
Poznanie mechanizmów dynamiki grupowej w kryzysie i zmianach;
Rozwijanie umiejętności przywódczych w nowych, nieprzewidywalnych warunkach;
Budowanie bezpiecznych struktur wspierających współpracę;
Wymiana doświadczeń na temat prowadzenia zespołów w sytuacjach napięcia.
The Beer Distribution Game provides an opportunity for participants to play the role of managers in a complex dynamic system. The challenge is to ensure that the consumers’ demand is satisfied by managing each part of the supply chain. Although game theme is about logistic challenges, the learning objectives can be vastly used in any domain, including finance, services, infrastructure and many others. Participants undergo the pressures of playing a role in a complex system, can see long range effects of their actions, experience interpersonal interaction and associated emotions that arise during the game. It illustrates the bullwhip effect which causes increased variability in orders as one moves up the supply chain.

Ludzie z natury chcą nas polubić i chcą widzieć w nas coś więcej niż biznes.

Potem analityków chcieli zwalniać, bo w podręcznikach adżajlowców go nie wymienili.
* umocowanie roli analityka w procesie wytwarzania
* rola analityka w relacji do zespołów zwinnych

Doświadczysz podstawowych praktyk i narzędzi z obszaru Myślenia Systemowego, kompetencji umożliwiającej identyfikować nieoczywiste bariery i ryzyka, lepiej przewidywać konsekwencje naszych decyzji oraz projektować zmiany skutkujące trwałymi usprawnieniami.
The workshop is aimed at restless souls for whom diligently fulfilling their duties is not enough to feel satisfied with bringing value to the organization.
We will simply discuss and practice how to effectively create and develop your own initiatives in large organizations, regardless of position and rank, using selected tools and methods from various business fields. We will cover topics such as Strategic Thinking, Business Architecture, Business Modeling, Critical Thinking, Process Engineering, Project Management, Change Management, Continuous Improvement, and Servant Leadership. All of this will be packaged in the simplest and most logical framework for initiatives of any scale.
Czasem nieefektywne. Czasem frustrujące. A jednak przyjmowane bez pytania.

In this dynamic 3-hour workshop, we explore the psychology of effectiveness—how to navigate the “too much to do, too little time” reality. You’ll learn practical tools for planning and prioritizing your work with clarity and purpose. We’ll also uncover common “effectiveness saboteurs” such as procrastination, distractions, multitasking, and poor energy management—and how to tackle them. Leave with strategies you can apply immediately to work smarter, not harder.
Uczestnicy:
– poznają źródła i typologie konfliktów zespołowych,
– przećwiczą narzędzia do zarządzania napięciami i trudnymi sytuacjami w zespole,
